The teaching of the indigenous language and the development of interculturality in the hours of native language classes as L1 and L2 in Peru
Abstract
Intercultural bilingual education in Peru is not the same. The situations of learning and teaching indigenous languages are different, as is the application of the concept of interculturality. The original languages can be found in a first or second language state. Culturally, cultural diversity is not valued. The objective of this research is to analyze two IBE situations in Peru. To this end, the realities of the Shipibo and Asháninka are reviewed. Methodologically, the educational contexts are described and compared. The work concludes by prioritizing teaching and learning according to the priorities of each sociolinguistic situation.
