The lord’s prayer in the mochica language
Abstract
The first aim of this paper is to introduce the history of the Lord’s Prayer in the Mochica language, which had repeatedly been translated in the Old World. Our second purpose is to make a spanish translation of this prayer. In this new translation, we will show Mochica phenomena, which Jerónimo de Oré (1607) or Fernando de la Carrera(1644) did not deal with, because the grammatical information was inferred from the texts themselves.Downloads
