Gómez Suárez de Figueroa, viajero por el Perú
Abstract
No se habian extinguido los ecos del cruento cerco del Cuzco que organizó y dispuso el brioso caudillo indio Manco Inca, cuando en una casa señorial de esa ciudad, que empezaba a tomar cierta fisionomía española, nació un niño mestizo, el 12 de abril de 1539, a quien su padre, el cápitan conquistador Sebastian Garcilaso de la Vega, lo hizo bautizar con el nombre de Gómez Suárez de Figueroa.
